School-side obligations

  • Maintain confidentiality of all PII in IDEA-protected records
  • Train all employees with access to IDEA records

  • Provide annual notice of IDEA confidentiality rights

  • Any vendor handling IDEA records must have dedicated controls beyond FERPA-level
